Gavin Weber is a 2025 SS/MIF with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Severna Park, MD who attends St. Johns College HS. Compact, young athletic build with tons of physical projection remaining to be added. 7.47-second runner during the sixty. Primary middle-infielder, fields out in front with clean actions, displaying a natural feel for the position. Plays low with some quick twitch, moving well laterally. Up to 81 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher, worked exclusively out of the stretch with a simple, athletic operation. Remains on line down the slope with a drop and drive lower half, displaying some quick arm speed. Strong feel for a three-pitch mix that generated tons of weak contact throughout his outing. Worked his fastball up to 81 mph with some life through the zone. Curveball displayed horizontal depth, using it well in various counts. Killed spin on his change-up that had some fading action against left-handers. Right-handed hitter, sets up with an even and balanced stance with a high-hand set. Short, simple stroke with compact hand speed, displaying excellent bat-to-ball skills. Stayed through the middle-of-the-field with line-drive tendencies that carried over into game play. Very strong feel for the barrel while still tapping into his power projection. Excellent student. Named to Fall East Coast Top Prospect List.
