2023 13U/14U Sunshine Mid-Atlantic Showcase
Luke Kosoff is a 2027 SS/RHP, 3B, OF with a 6-1 156 lb. frame from Woodcliff Lake, NJ who attends Don Bosco Prep. Long, lean and immensely projectable frame that will continue to expand with additional strength. Recorded a 7.69 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary infielder with tons of attributes to project on moving forward. Displayed good lateral range to either side, a clean funnel out in-front and developing arm strength across the diamond on his throws. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with good rhythm and tempo to his movements down the slope. Strike thrower that worked into the mid-60s throughout his outing. Commanded both sides of the plate efficiently with fastball, curveball combination. Landed big-breaking 11-5 shaped curveball for strikes and will continue to add more velocity as he physically matures. Took part in the outfield portion of the defensive workout as well, where he showed best. Displayed long, fluid strides into the fielding process. Stayed behind the baseball and maintained momentum into his throws, delivering accurate and online throws up to 69 mph. Left-handed hitter that hit from a wider, even base with preset hand low and leg lift trigger. Gap-to-gap approach with good feel for the barrel and tons of power projection moving forward. Worked the middle-of-the field extremely well, sending several line drives there in both batting practice and during game action. Will continue to improve with additional strength and projects extremely well moving forward. Excellent Student. Named to the 2023 13/14U Sunshine Mid-Atlantic Showcase Top Prospect List.
