2021 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 14)
Ian McCracken is a 2023 3B/1B, OF with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Carrollton, TX who attends Hebron. Extra Large frame with a lean build and broad shoulders. Ran a 6.93 second sixty yard dash. Primary Third Baseman, sitting back on the baseball a bit as he makes sure to keep it out front. Gathers and then works into a quick transfer. Accurate throws as he threw it 84 mph during drills. Young actions that will improve with repetitions. Secondary Outfielder, working into the baseball with proper footwork as he gathers to the side. Shorter arm action as he releases with intent. Proved to have one hop accuracy as he threw it 84 mph during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, starting spread out and slightly open with the front side. Fires the hands as he works into a slightly uphill plane. Strength in the swing present as he impacted with some thump. Proved he could generate power to the pull-side during his round. Great Student.
