Brodie Bragg is a 2027 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Hoover, AL who attends Spain Park. Bragg ran a 7.83 Sixty Yard dash. Slender athletic frame with plenty of time to add additional strength in the future. Primary left handed started with a leg lift that was well above hip height with a longer stride. He creates rhythm well throughout the operation with an aggressive hand break with and athleticism down the slope. The arm stroke showed some compactness and tightness to it as he came from a mid 3/4s slot. The fastball showed some run through the zone peaking at 74mph. He mixed in a 12-6 shaped breaking ball with some depth and that tunneled the fastball well out off the hand. Secondary first base showed athletic actions around the base with quick lateral movements side to side. Fielding the ball cleanly out in front with quick glove to hand transfers and dropping the arm slot when needed on the throws across the infield. In the Outfield he was quick to the ball coming through it aggressively off to the side with a compact high 3/4s slot and a bigger crow hop on the throws. Left handed hitter starts with a wide base and a mid level leg lift trigger. Transferring the weight well throughout the operation to the front side. The hands worked in rhythm as they rotated in the slot showing a quick bat with some tilt to the barrel and strength to the pull side. Bragg was named to the 2023 Deep South All State Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
