Landon Leonard is a 2023 3B/RHP, MIF, OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Hampton, GA who attends Dutchtown. Large frame with a lean build showing room to fill out physically down the road. Ran a 7.00 second sixty yard dash. Primary Third Baseman, quick first step as he works into the baseball aggressively. Deep gather as he stays down and through it. Released with intent as he threw it 78 mph during drills. Secondary Outfielder, showing urgency as he works into it with intent. Breaks down at gather to make sure he scoops it up before working into release. Lower slot release and was accurate to the bag as he threw it 81 mph. Right-Handed Hitter, starting balanced with low hands. Creates separation and works into a linear path. Looks to stay inside the baseball and drive it middle-away. Proved to have some power to the pull-side when he got the bat head out front. Great Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
