Mason Parsons is a 2025 SS/RHP/C/OF with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Dallas, TX who attends Lake Highlands. Long and lean frame with athleticism at present. Ran a 7.84 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, shows fundamental actions with developing lateral looseness. Clean and quick transfers with good arm strength on throws across. Also worked out behind the plate and in the outfield, shows a hard attack to the ball with a clean funnel and strong arm from the outfield; athleticism shows in actions behind the dish with quick feet and a strong arm that creates carry to bags. Grades out best on the mound at present, stays compact and works on a good line to the plate with athleticism. Long and loose arm action with great arm speed that creates late running life to the arm side on the fastball and shows feel for a protectable curveball out of 11-to-5 shape with good spin and bite to it. Right-handed hitter, sets up slightly open with high hands and a high back elbow. Gets some length to contact and whips the barrel through generating best impact to the pull side where the ball carries some. Named to 2020 14u Fall South Showcase Top Prospect List.
