Hayden Carpenter is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Pinehurst, TX who attends Magnolia West. Large frame with a physical build. Ran a 7.56 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, controlled delivery and moves down mound well, longer arm stroke and works through high three-quarters slot, gets over the front side and works downhill well. Creates good angle on fastball up to 83, works in the zone and shows good feel to spin as well. Also worked out in the outfield, clean actions to and through the ball, fields it well and funnels it into longer release with good arm strength and carry on his throws. Righthanded hitter, longer swing but good strength to it, able to get synced up well and hands work, was on plane often and showed strong impact to the middle of the field. Good student. Named to 2022 Sunshine South Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
