2022 Sunshine South Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Conner Hinton is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 6-3 208 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends Glenda Dawson. Conner has some potential on the mound while showing some arm strength and good velocity with some run on fastballs. Conner has some inconsistencies with arm slot as game goes on, but showed good aptitude for in game adjustments to out himself back in best position. Defensively Conner has some stiffness but once ball is in control has good arm across diamond. Conner has a flat swing in the zone, tries to lift and create launch. Showed some power to the pull side but working too far under the ball. Great frame and size to develop into something more.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
