Derek Fleming is a 2025 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Loveland, OH who attends Loveland. Large frame with strong, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.52 seconds. Hits from slightly open stance with medium base, large leg lift trigger, long stride with inconsistent land direction, big swing with uppercut path, flashes bat speed, has strength to pull-side when on time. Worked out at 1B, glove works well out front, shows comfort in footwork around the bag, fields cleanly, clocked up to 68 mph on throws. Excellent student.
