Johnathan Meers is a 2023 RHP/UT with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Jupiter, FL who attends Home School. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Slow leg raise delivery with a slight pause at the top to load his hips, long and deep arm action in back, high 3/4's to over the top arm slot out front, tends to get his upper half too far out front going down the mound and lose leverage. Fastball worked in the upper 70's, mostly straight with big downhill angle, upper body position keeps him front getting consistent tight spin on his curveball. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall open stance with a rotational downhill swing, middle of the field ground ball contact. 7.15 runner, plays the outfield when not on the mound. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
