Evan Kochanskyj is a 2024 OF/RHP, C with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Clifton Park, NY who attends Shenendehowa. Long, slender, projectable build with tons of strength remaining to be added throughout his frame. 7.78-second runner during the sixty. Primary outfielder, long strides to the ball as he fields off his front foot with a deep funnel. Showcased present arm strength, up to 84 mph with carry on his throws to the bases. Stabs with his glove when he works through the ball. Secondary right-handed pitcher, methodical operation that he repeats well. Comes from a 3/4 slot with a long arm action that tended to get stuck on the backside. Worked heater on both sides of the plate, sitting in the 74-76 mph range, topping out at 77 mph. Breaking ball displayed 11-5 shape with depth. Also took defensive reps behind the plate, low, square set up. Elongated exchange with developing footwork. Recording a best pop time of 2.08-seconds. Right-handed hitter, wide base with a low-hand set up. Compact stroke that got long at times displaying feel for the barrel putting together a consistent round of BP. Clean operation with low effort impact through the middle-of-the-field. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
