Josiah Hartshorn is a 2025 OF/LHP, 1B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Anaheim, CA who attends Orange Lutheran. Taller and wide shoulder prospect with a young chiseled frame and more to come. A right-handed hitter, uses a toe tap trigger and little movement with the hands. Explosive hand speed and creates easy leverage resulting in some mesmerizing homeruns to the pull side. Really consistent with the barrel out front and the path created true back spin. Hit seven homeruns during his round and nothing was cheap. Some of the best upside from a power standpoint in the class thus far. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
