Will Demasse is a 2023 C/RHP/1B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Macomb, MI who attends Dakota. Medium athletic build with good strength for his age. 7.59 runner in the sixty. Sets up well behind the plate, receives the ball well with good hands, compact arm action with some arm strength, tends to pop straight up to throw without engaging his lower half, has the athleticism to continue to develop behind the plate. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow bent knee stance with a big move into contact, gets his hips involved in his swing and creates some strength at contact, works gap to gap with good extension out front. Also pitched, deep arm action in back with a big gather over the rubber, tends to get off line working down the mound but has good arm speed and commanded his fastball well. Topped out at 81 mph and generated weak contact on his fastball. Tends to slow his arm on a slow curveball. Good overall athlete with strength and some developing skills that will keep improving. Very good student.
