Chris Masters is a 2006 left handed pitcher from Kennesaw Mountain High School in Marietta, Georgia with a strong 5'11'', 190 lb. frame. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a funky motion. Masters wraps is arm around his body, but still gets good arm speed and stays on top of his pitches and finishes well. His fastball topped out at 81 mph with late life, and he works the corners keeping his fastball out of the heart of the plate. His best pitch is his sharp curveball with biting action, and is plain nasty at times. He also mixes in a 74 mph changeup. Masters attacks the hitters and is aggressive on the mound showing good poise and presence.
