Gregg Bennis is a 2009 RHP/OF/1B with a 5'11'', 180 lb. frame from Davie, FL who attends St Thomas HS. Medium build, some strength. Closed/balanced delivery, arm action is compact and loose. FB 85-88 mph, hard running action at times. Tight spin on hard sweeping CB, late action, maintains arm speed on change well. Command needs refining but good stuff, 3 solid pitches. He was named to the top prospect team at this event.
