Ty Donnelly is a 2024 LHP/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Huntersville, NC who attends Hough. Medium, compact build with some present strength throughout his frame, with more remaining to be added as well. 7.53-second runner during the sixty. Took defensive reps in the outfield, came and got the ball well, fielding off his front foot. Carries his momentum through his throws well while continuing to develop arm strength. Accurate to the bases. As he continues to fill out the arm strength will improve. Left-handed hitter, sets up with an even, balanced stance with a slight bend at the knee. Worked to the whole field during his round of BP flashing some impact to the pull side. Displayed some feel for the barrel that translated over into game play. Compact stroke and will continue to impact the ball as he adds strength. Good student.
