Branden Weber is a 2008 LHP with a 6'2", 205 lb frame from Orlando, FL who attends Timber Creek HS. Branden has a strong well-developed build and showed the raw ability to be a solid pitching prospect. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot and his arm works well producing good armside run. His mechanics are very rough around the edges and with some adjustments he should be able to add a good amount of velocity. Branden showed off a very hard and tight slider that can be used as a strike-out pitch. With his raw mechanics, Branden actually becomes deceptive to hitters. Branden is a strong student that should attract the attention of many mid to high-level college programs.
