Luis Acevedo is a 2025 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-6 142 lb. frame from Winston Salem, NC who attends West Forsyth. Medium young build with plenty of room to get stronger. 7.57 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has good bounce in his actions and active feet, gets his glove down early and fields the ball cleanly, compact arm stroke with some carry on his throws, makes accurate throws. Also worked out in the outfield. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow open start with a quick stride into contact, pretty well timed, middle of the field line drive approach. Also pitched and showed his arm strength well, worked up to 80 mph front a leg tuck delivery and high 3/4's arm action, got big run on his fastball at times, worked primarily just with his fastball. Good athlete who should keep improving as he continues to grow. Good student. Named to the 13U/14U Sunshine Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
