Andrew Capizzi is a 2023 3B/RHP, 2B, OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Cranberry Twp, PA who attends Seneca Valley. Medium, lean frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.36 seconds. Primarily a 3B, where he took efficient routes to grounders. His throws across the diamond topped out at 79 MPH. At the plate he uses a slightly open stance and his swing stayed connected throughout his stroke. Showcased some impressive bat speed too. On the bump, he did a good job of hiding the ball and creating some deception against hitters. FB was 75-81 and had late cutting action. His breaking ball averaged 69 MPH and had sweeping action as it approached the zone. Excellent student.
