Grant Reising is a 2021 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Canton, MI who attends Divine Child. Long and lean athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. Slow paced well controlled delivery on the mound, long and loose arm action from a high 3/4's slot, good lower half direction through release, Created steep plane on a mid-80s fastball, works down in the zone very well with pitch. Change up was a good pitch for him with fading action and good arm speed, flashed tight spin and 12/6 downer shape on his curveball. Threw lots of strikes. Very projectable young southpaw. Left handed hitter, hits from a comfortable bent knee stance with a loose swing, can turn on the inside pitch and drive it hard to the pull side. 7.23 runner in the sixty, also plays the outfield. Outstanding student. Named to the Great Lakes Indoor Showcase Top Prospect Team.
