Adrian Aviles is a 2022 OF/RHP, 3B with a 6-0 182 lb. frame from Paramount, CA who attends Downey. Recorded a 7.34 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, athletic frame with some room to add strength. Primary outfielder that uses deliberate footwork into the fielding process, while fielding off his front foot into a smooth transition. Stays behind the baseball well, maintains momentum into release and recorded online, accurate throws up to 86 mph during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that works from an abbreviated windup, repeating it well and efficiently. Fastball worked in the low-80s for the majority of his outing, topping out at 83 mph from a high three-quarters arm slot. Proficient strike thrower that commands the top of the zone effectively with his fastball, mixing in both a 12-6 curveball and replicated changeup as his secondary offerings. Left-handed hitter that hits from an open stance with a tight hand set and leg lift trigger. Simple, repeatable stroke with good balance and line drive path. Displayed advanced bat-to-ball skills and feel for the barrel throughout and showcased power potential to the pull-side. Solid overall skill set with offensive prowess and good barrel awareness. Excellent Student. Named to the 2022 Perfect Game West Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.
