Jacob Barmore is a 2023 C/RHP, 2B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Lakewood, CO who attends Green Mountain. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and longer limbs, lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.84 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, side saddle start behind the plate in drills, receives the ball out front, shows some quickness to transfer, higher transfer at chest, accurate throws down to second base with some present arm strength and a medium arm stroke, gains ground with lower half coming out. Right-handed hitter, begins with narrow base and upright stance, utilizes a small stride moving into contact. Stays connected with swing, inside the ball with hands and works on a linear plane, can implement additional extension to get the barrel out front. Contact oriented approach, shows bat speed through the zone, best contact to the opposite field. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
