Dylan Whitfield is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Highlands Ranch, CO who attends Valor Christian. Whitfield works from a medium athletic build with strength present throughout. Exclusively from his primary OF spot, he displayed sound footwork with the ability to cover ground and get to spots. He effectively worked through the ball with clean transitions and a compact release, ultimately topping out at 81 mph. Arm strength has additional room to project. Offensively, the righty started from a slightly open stance with a slight hover trigger flashing solid weight shift and hip torque through impact producing carry and backspin to the pull side gap. He controlled the barrel well with intent to get the barrel out in front, posting an exit velo of 86 mph. Ran a 7.44 sixty yard dash. Great student. Named to Top Prospect List.
