Daniel Hernandez is a 2023 C/1B, 3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Palmetto Bay, FL who attends Westminster Christian. Medium frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.02 seconds. Hits from balanced and upright stance with high hands and back elbow, minimal pre-pitch movement, flashes hand speed with feel up both gaps, can turn on the ball and impact pull-side, barrel path could use more consistency, has power upside here. Worked out behind the plate, side-saddle set, rising into reception, shows quickness to footwork, transfer gets elongated and tangled at times, has solid arm strength, clocked up to 76 mph on throws. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
