Easton Delanda is a 2024 C/3B/SS with a 5-5 115 lb. frame from Alamogordo, NM who attends Alamogordo. Medium frame with room to fill out as he progresses. Primary catcher, shows some quick twitch actions. Deliberate with his glove work and framing skills. Arm strength down to the second base bag will develop nicely alongside his build. In the infield, is methodical with his fielding mechanics and uses a short arm action across. Good accuracy on his throws to the first base bag. At the plate, uses a wide and crouched stance with an early linear weight shift load. Creates tension between his upper and lower half with a slightly pre-coiled upper half. Hands work well to the baseball and look to use his pull side gap. Present bat speed with a line drive barrel plane through the zone. Excellent student in the classroom.
