Adrian Ayala Castellano is a 2023 SS/IF, OF with a 5-6 135 lb. frame from Omaha, NE who attends Millard South. Smaller compact athletic frame. Ran a 7.39 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder with fundamental footwork, fielding the ball out front and funneling to the waist, some lateral quickness to both sides and an average throwing arm. Hit from a square stance at the plate with load stride timing, showed solid barrel control with a level bat path through the zone, did a nice job of using the whole field. On the mound showed a fastball in the low 70's and a mid 70's slider with some ability to throw some quality strikes. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
