Brady Birdsong is a 2023 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-3 197 lb. frame from San Luis Opisbo, CA who attends San Luis Obispo. He ran a 7.27 second sixty. A primary first baseman with a large build. On the infield he showed firm hands fielding the ball deep, he takes a longer gather into his throws with a shuffle and showed average carry on his throws from a lower arm slot. On the mound he worked from the stretch only with a belt high leg lift, he comes down the mound with some drop and drive actions on the back side, the fastball comes out of the hand pretty well at 76-77 mph from a high three-quarters arm slot, the curveball showed best in the upper sixties with its most depth, the changeup comes out straight like a fastball with good arm speed. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base and open stance, takes a little hand load with a simple stride,wokred mostly middle to pull getting into the lower half well with loft in the bat path sitting on the back side.
