Logan Staley is a 2020 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Lowell, MI who attends Lowell. Large frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.40 seconds. Primary lefthanded pitcher, side step into high leg lift, coils on back leg, gets downhill well though slightly crossfire, creates good plane to the plate, fastball worked 78-83 mph with good angle, showed makings of very promising curveball as well as feel for his changeup. Hits from spread, even-based stance, swings it hard with good intent, wants to leverage the ball into the air, whole-field approach, good strength. Worked out in the outfield, hands work well and does a good job coming through, clocked up to 82 mph on throws. Very good student.
