Yoldi Soriano is a 2021 2B/SS with a 5-7 163 lb. frame from Boston, MA who attends John D. O’Bryant High School. Medium and strong frame with plenty more room to fill throughout. Ran a 6.57 second 60 yard dash. Primary second baseman, worked out in the infield showcasing softness to his hands, fields the ball out in front in a low gathering position, takes a compact arm action into throws with an over the top arm slot, pulls his front side into release creating some uphill carry into throws, topped out at 69 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a wide base and a high hand set, takes a leg lift trigger into contact, takes a long swing plane into contact, creates some torque with hips and bat speed with barrel through the hitting zone, produces extension out in front with occasional lift.
