Charlie Lesch is a 2024 OF/RHP/C/MIF with a 5-6 145 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends IMG Academy. As a primary outfielder, Lesch displayed a quick compact arm motion with solid forward momentum and accuracy from a young build with room to grow. He attacked the ball with intent from both the outfield and infield and flashed good range from both positions. Lesch worked from the catcher spot as well, successfully receiving the ball out in front and putting himself in good positions to throw. As strength on his frame develops, velo to second should come. On the mound, Lesch threw from a high 3/4 arm slot with a controlled and repeatable delivery. He flashed a tight curveball that worked down and in to lefties with 11-5 movement. Offensively, Lesch started from an open stance and showcased a level bat path with quick hands to the ball. Once again, as strength develops power potential will also increase. Ran a 8.14 60 yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
