Alex Matter is a 2022 OF/1B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Belleville, IL who attends Belleville East. Medium build with some present strength and room for plenty more. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a big hand drop load to start his swing, hand drop impact his timing and swing plane, swings hard with developing bat speed. 7.78 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder with young footwork to the ball, deep plunging arm action in back. Will continue to improve with focus on his fundamentals. Good student.
