Seth Cooper is a 2022 2B/RHP/SS with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Star, MS who attends Mclaurin Attendance Center. Solid athletic build with good present strength and room for more. 7.09 runner in the sixty. Primary second baseman on defense, has good fundamentals and fields the ball cleanly out front, some quickness to his feet and changes direction well, plenty of arm strength for second base and makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a bent knee start with a big back side load, shifts in his lower half well, creates leverage through contact with good balance, showed present bat speed with the ability to drive the ball to the gaps with carry. Also pitched, works from the stretch with a low hand set start, high coiling leg lift, throws from a side arm slot. Fastball topped out at 79 mph, can add and subtract from the pitch, has nice sinking and running life and is thrown for strikes, ground ball pitcher. Throws a soft breaking ball from the same slot. Good student. Named to the Sunshine Gulf Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
