Matthew Hergott is a 2028 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Henderson, NV who attends St. John Bosco. Features a Large frame. 2-pitch mix (FB, CB) Loose arm out of a 3/4 slot. Fastball has some ride at the top of the zone and was able to locate it consistently. Curveball had some late bite and was landing it for strikes and produced a number of ground balls in this outing . There is some pitch ability here in the future. At first base he showcased proper footwork and glove technique and was accurate on double play feeds. At the plate he has a tall, narrow base. Keeps his hands low with a high finish.
