Ayden Mansfield is a 2022 C/RHP, IF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Arbor View. Medium build with plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop. Primary catcher, sets up in a conventional crouch, shows some softness with his glove work. Replace feet well on his throws down to second base. Clean transfer, consistent mechanics. Posted a 1.96 second pop time in the catching workouts. At the plate, uses an upright and even stance with a simple stride trigger. Takes his hands direct to the baseball. Power tool will develop nicely alongside his build. Middle of the field approach. Great student in the classroom as well.
