2022 High School All State Select Championship (2023-2024 Grads)
Drew Rayment is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-5 195 lb. frame from Spokane, WA who attends Mt Spokane. Long, broad frame with lean muscle throughout and plenty of room to add strength. Primary outfielder with smooth, fluid actions throughout the fielding process. Incorporates long stride to approach the baseball, displayed a clean gather off to the side and maintains momentum into release. Produced online, accurate throws with some carry up to 82 mph during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with slightly coiled leg lift, drop-and-drive lower half mechanics and plenty of present arm speed. Fastball worked in the mid-to-upper 80s for the majority of his outing, maintaining good downhill to it and topped out at 89 mph from a high three-quarters arm slot. Repeats well despite length and pounds the strike zone pretty effortlessly. Mixed in a developing breaking ball that varied in shape and showed best when thrown at a higher velocity with conviction. Tons of upside remaining on the mound with more velocity coming as he continues to physically mature. Left-handed hitter that hits from wider, even base with a high hand set, low back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Whole field approach with inside-out swing path and flatter launch, does display some quickness to his hands. Impacts the baseball when able to get off his backside completely. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Immensely projectable frame with tons of room to mature physically, monster upside on the mound as he continues to add more velocity and refine his overall repertoire. Excellent Student. Named to the 2022 HS All State Select Championship Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
