Julian Apodaca is a 2022 C/SS with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Albuquerque, NM who attends Cibola. Slender young athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.54 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has quick feet in his shifting and throwing, makes very accurate throws with sound footwork and a clean and consistent exchange, some arm strength and carry on his throws. Also plays the infield with the same sort of athletic quickness and ability to make accurate throws from multiple arm slots. Right handed hitter, deep hand load with good lower half coil and torque through his swing, well timed trigger with an accurate barrel, consistently squared up the ball with solid line drive contact during batting practice and the games, solid swing approach that will enable him to keep improving as he gets stronger. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
