Jacob Humbers is a 2022 MIF/RHP/OF with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Columbus, MS who attends Caledonia. Slender young athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.09 runner in the sixty. Versatile defensive player with middle of the field athleticism and good arm strength, primary middle infielder but was more impressive in the outfield with his arm strength and speed, showed plus range to the gaps. Right handed hitter, hits under control with a fluid and loose swing with good extension out front, is well timed and works the middle of the field with good balance and direction to his swing, has some present bat speed with more to come as he gets stronger. Also pitched, has a high and flexible leg raise with a high 3/4's arm slot, pretty high energy at release but holds his mechanics together well. Fastball topped out at 86 mph, mostly straight. Has confidence in his slider and throws it often, flashes good when he's on top of it. Reliever profile on the mound. Nice athlete with tools and some skills who will keep improving with strength. Good student. Named to the Sunshine Gulf Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
