Cameron Michels is a 2021 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-10 151 lb. frame from Weatherford, TX who attends Mineral Wells HS. Recorded an 8.04 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with some size present and lots of room to fill out. Primary shortstop with a wide set up and one handed funnel out in front. Compact arm stroke with a clean release and throws recorded up to 72 mph across the diamond. Secondary righthanded pitcher with an over the top arm slot and clean mechanics. Easy follow through and hides the ball nicely. Competes with fastballs primarily and mixed in a softer curveball with depth. Righthanded hitter with a spread open stance. Exaggerated hand movement during the load with a big leg kick. Should quiet down hands for more consistent contact. Power will improve with added strength. Good student.
