Seung Kang is a 2022 RHP/1B, OF with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Carrollton, TX who attends Hebron. Recorded a 7.85 second sixty yard dash time. Large frame with a thick and physical build. Primary right-handed pitcher with a smooth and fluid delivery, utilizes a long arm action with developing arm speed. Fastball has some late tailing life to it, flashed a decent curveball with late break and depth. Mixes the two pitches well and will improve pitchability as he increases his command/control. Secondary outfielder with a passive approach, waits back on the ball and fields it cleanly out front. Limited actions/fundamentals in the outfield, has a long arm action and made low and accurate throws to the bag. Right-handed hitter with a square base and a high hand set and bat wrap to start, utilizes a leg lift trigger. Produced line drive contact to the middle of the field quite consistently, swings on an uphill path and will get under the ball at times. Has good feel for creating lift at contact and has the bat speed to project for more power down the road. Good student.
