Talan Holiday is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends American Heritage. Tall, athletic frame with room to continue adding strength onto the build. Primary right-handed pitcher, works out of the full windup, short step into a medium leg lift and drop and drive lower half mechanics. Really clean operation and arm swing to a high three-quarters slot. Fastball has good ride out of the hand and operated comfortably in the 84-88 mph range throughout his three innings of work. Mixed in a slider with consistent horizontal shape in the upper-70s with spins north of 2500 RPM. Showed confidence in changeup to both sided hitters with heavy arm-side fade to it in the upper-70s that he kills well. Tunnels everything well and has good projection. Great student. Named to 2023 PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.
