Austin Greven is a 2020 RHP/3B with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Apple Valley, MN who attends Eastview. Large physical build. Ran a 8.08 second sixty-yard dash. Employs a small rocker step to a belt high leg lift staying slightly flexed at gather going to drop and drive actions down the mound while landing online with the plate and staying online through finish. Flashed a deep arm action with good arm speed throwing from a mid three-quarter slot. Displayed a fastball with heavy life through the zone and developing control topping out at 81 miles per hour complemented by a 10/5 curveball for consistent strikes at 70 miles per hour. Right handed hitter. Employs a upright slightly open stance with a high hand and back elbow set up. Displayed good strength at contact with good bat speed. Utilizes a line drive plane with a direct hand path and good feel for the barrel resulting in consistent line drives. Flashed a middle to pull side power approach looking to drive the baseball. Good student.
