2019 Mid-Atlantic Prospect Showcase
Michael Sears is a 2021 2B with a 6-0 140 lb. frame from Bryn Mawr, PA who attends Radnor. Medium and skinny frame with lots of room to fill. Did not run the 60 yard dash. Primary second baseman, worked out in the infield getting low at gather, has softness to his hands, long arm action taken into throws with developing arm strength, topped out at 69 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, loads with a bat wrap, hands work into the swing, middle of the field to pull side approach, will continue to improve pop with added strength to his frame. Outstanding student.
