Luke Craddock is a 2025 1B/RHP, 3B, OF with a 6-2 230 lb. frame from Warrenton, VA who attends Highland School. Broad, athletic frame with well-proportioned strength throughout. Recorded a 4.01 second thirty-yard dash time. Primary first baseman with good lateral range to either side, a clean funnel out in-front and the ability to turn quickly to throw. Displayed the ability to change arm slots effectively, while producing accurate throws with carry across during drills. Recorded arm strength up to 86 mph during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a compact, full windup delivery with athletic movements down the slope. Fastball worked in the 82-84 mph range consistently throughout his appearance from a compact, lower three-quarters arm slot. Repeats well and has good lower half movements down the slope. Flashed plenty of natural arm-side run to his fastball and pounds the zone effortlessly. Mixed in a firm slider as his go-to secondary offerings, as it flashed some horizontal sweep at times and vertical depth when thrown from a slightly higher arm slot. Displayed plenty of arm speed for a secondary arm. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wider, slightly open stance with a tight hand set, high back elbow and a subtle hover trigger. Displayed good lower half rotation and torque into launch, shifting his weight well into contact and displayed lightning quick hands to impact the baseball with authority. Middle-of-the field intent with electric present bat speed, strength in his hands and exceptional feel for the barrel. Displayed massive power potential with the ability to impact the baseball loudly from gap-to-gap. Strong, physical corner infielder with intriguing offensive skill set and positional versatility. Good Student. Verbal commitment to East Carolina. Named to the 2022 Virginia Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
