Nate Berenberg is a 2024 C/2B, UT with a 5-5 115 lb. frame from Maplewood, NJ who attends Columbia. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean build, projects with room to grow and develop physically moving forward. Ran an 8.55 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, begins with a low set behind the plate and receives the ball out front, gains some ground and can continue to implement additional footwork into release, full arm action on throws down to second base, arm strength and accuracy will continue to develop. Switch-hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; carries hands low through swing and remains on a linear plane, contact oriented approach with contact to the middle of the field. Begins with a slightly open stance with a high hand set and back elbow from the left side, loads hands back and keeps hands inside the ball and shows a full swing path. Very good student.
