Cameron Mallo is a 2024 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Hillsborough. Smaller frame with a lean build and plenty of room to fill. Ran a 7.33 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield with looseness to actions, good footwork getting to the ball and builds momentum into throws, smooth glove with confident transfers, easy out of the hand with developing arm strength. Secondary right-handed pitcher, simple operation, stays online with the arm through a high three-quarters slot, works down the mound well, fills up the zone with the fastball and drops in a curveball out of 11 to 5 shape. Righthanded hitter, sets up even with high hands and a high back elbow, big stride into contact, stays short to the ball with some looseness to the hands, works on a level swing plane with balance through contact and extension, is able to get the barrel head out front and turn it over while producing line drives mostly to the middle and pull side.
