Steele Jackson is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Hamilton, IN who attends Dekalb. Strong well defined athletic build. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance, aggressive swing approach, looking to pull and lift the ball, has plus raw bat speed and power potential, jumps on fastballs and drives them hard to the pull side with carry, likes the ball on the inside half. 6.89 runner in the sixty. Has athletic actions in the outfield on defense and repeats his exchange and footwork well, over the top arm action with some carry on his throws, made accurate on line throws. Also pitched, compact delivery with a full arm swing in back, over the top release point, gets soft on his front side at times. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, threw a complete mix of curveball, slider and change up. Good athlete with strength who has a very interesting bat, especially for an unsigned senior. Good student. Named to the World Showcase Top Prospect List.
