Andres Gomez is a 2025 SS/C with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Mater Academy Lakes. Smaller young athletic build. 6.90 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has nice footwork and quick feet, gets in front of the ball well and gets his glove in good position to field the ball cleanly, nice arm strength across the diamond, all the physical tools to stay at shortstop moving forward. Switch hitter at the plate, has a similar set up and approach from both sides, bit more bat speed and jump off the barrel from the right side, has good rhythm from both sides and keeps things simple, high contact swing that will serve him well as he gets stronger.
