Aj Perry is a 2024 OF/LHP, 1B with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Boca Raton, FL who attends Calvary Christian Academy. Recorded a 7.81 sixty yard dash at the event. Tall, physical frame with some room to fill out yet. Primary outfielder. One handed gather on the side of his body. Some choppy steps in his rhythmic footwork. Lower arm slot, allowed for lots of arm-side run on throws. Slightly below average arm strength at 79 mph. Secondary first baseman. Moves around the bag well. Has a good feel for the position. Fed the double play well with accurate throws. Softer hands. Secondary left-handed pitcher. Worked out of the stretch only. Simple delivery that stayed in-line down the mound. Front shoulder stayed closed. Three-quarters arm slot with minimal effort. Natural arm-side run to the fastball. Switch-hitter in the box. From the left side, he utilizes a strong lower half. Wider, slightly open stance. Low back elbow with tight hands to the body. Compact swing. Mirrored stance from the right side. More intent behind what he is doing. Louder impact with some pullside juice here. Exit velo of 92 mph with wood. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
