Christopher Sosa is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-5 195 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Mater Academy. Wiry frame with long limbs and broad shoulders with room to fill out and add strength. Primary right-handed pitcher with a compact delivery he repeats well. Leg lift past the belt with a shorter arm stroke in the back. Hides the ball nicely. Efficient mover down the mound, incorporates the lower half nicely. Fastball peaked at 89 mph showing big cutting life at times. Commands the fastball well to both his glove side and arm side. Slurvy breaking ball in the low 70's with long horizontal break and short depth. Turned over a quality changeup with fade that was effective against left-handed hitters. Advanced three pitch mix. Right-handed hitter with a short stride into contact. Uphill swing path with strength in the hands. Swings with intent, shows power to the pull side when he gets extended out front. Named to the 2022 Miami Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
