Conner Filer is a 2021 OF/1B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Omaha, NE who attends Millard West. Very athletic build with good present strength and physical projection. 7.24 runner, has good fundamental footwork through the ball in the outfield and gets rid of the ball quickly with a loose and extended arm action, can improve his raw arm strength immediately with more front side use, makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow open stance, has quick hands and is short and direct to the ball, has lift in his swing, middle of the field to pull side contact, has the present bat speed to get the ball to jump with gap power. Interesting young athlete who should continue to improve with repetitions and more strength.
